Larue Friday Night
Planning to take a trip out to Larue this Friday for Test and Tune. Also my school is hosting a Grudge race, run what you brung...but it will bascially just be bracket racing...so all the slow cars will win. My friend is taking a Belvedere is a built 499 big block. He just put bigs and littles on it with Billet Specialties wheels that look really good. Should be alot of cool stuff out there, hoping to see some good races. A couple built b16 turbo-ed Honda civics are also tagging along.
Do Work Son
My trucks coming along pretty well. Almost ready to take out and get moving. Came across some pretty wicked built cars. Not your every day kind of cars. The first car is a 65 Plymouth Belvedere with a built 499 CI Big block after that there is a Supra with a built 2jz pushing out over 600hp. The green Fox Body Mustang pulled up, sounded pretty good but also sounded like a squeaky powersteering belt...WRONG! has a ProCharger on it and a cage...so that means its fast right?
My Ride
I have a 1996 Chevy 1500 that I bought completely stock from a guy my dad worked with. The truck wasn't in bad shape but it needed work. I got the truck when I was 16 and i haven't finished working on it yet. It started being lowered 2 inches, then slammed 8 inches, and now it lays frame by putting air ride on it. Its still a work in progress and it will never be done. I fully redid the interior with fiberglass and matching paint and a custom sub enclosure with center console and cup holders. It still has many plans, right now i'm putting a new bed on it. Went from a fleetside to a stepside. THE WORK IS NEVER DONE!
Whats Up?
Hello I made this blog to see how many people out there actually built their vehicles and not bought them the way they are. Im not talking about just buying altezza taillights and neons and an AutoZone fart can...I mean actual modifications like engine work, suspension, interior, paint, etc. Real Cars are Built Not Bought.
